Cookies

Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address.

The purpose of using cookies is to make our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing us, for example, to display our website in different languages.

The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to collect data to initiate or process contractual relationships.

There are several types of cookies that are usually being collected:

  • Session Cookies: These are temporary and are deleted from your device when you close your web browser.
  • Persistent Cookies: These remain on your device for a longer period and are used to remember your preferences for future visits.
  • Third-Party Cookies: These cookies may be placed by third-party services that appear on our website. They help us understand how our website is being used, support our marketing efforts, and improve your user experience.

If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

When you close your browser, these session cookies are deleted. In addition, we use cache tools to delete information from our website’s back-end to avoid any unnecessary collection of data. At the moment we do not use third party cookies. These cookies are often used by advertisers to share relevant content on cooperating websites. Our website doesn’t include any such advertisements and remains clean from any external sources.
